Since Preston's arrival, we've been showered by love and visits from FRIENDS!! The kids (especially Madelyn) loves playing with all of her visitors. AND let's be honest, Mom likes the help when she's home by herself with the two kiddos. Unfortunately things get a little crazy, and we don't have photographic evidence of each visitor...but here are a few pics we do have!

Blythe and Mallory Daniels stopped by for a few hours. The girls got to play together and Blythe brought us yummy lunch!

Aunt Annie was so excited to meet our little man, she came at the first available moment - even though her man couldn't join her.

We've had the honor of celebrating several birthdays since Preston's arrival. We were able to attend Katelyn Hanson's 2nd b-day party and Ansley Burkhalter's 3rd b-day party. Madelyn had a BLAST at both celebrations, and Mommy and Daddy got some good ideas for gifts for Madelyn in the future! Here's Madelyn and Katelyn playing with Katelyn's new kitchette!

A few days later, Shannon and I took our kiddos (Hayden and Preston in their strollers) to a jump house in Cumming. Katelyn walks no where...she jumps, hops, or skips...those are her methods of getting from point A to point B! She was totally in her element at the jump house! This was Madelyn's first introduction to the inflatables, and she was a trooper! She was a little unsure at first but warmed up to at least run around and climb on things. Afterwards we had lunch at Chick-fil-A! It was a great playdate!

Danielle and Drew McGinn came and spent a few hours hanging out one morning. It was perfect timing for Momma - she needed some girl time. Preston was an angel on this visit and Madelyn tried to keep up with Drew! They are "playing" scrabble below...Drew's face makes me think Madelyn might not be playing by the rules...
Tim, Blythe, Tyler, and Mallory all came over to play last weekend. We had a GREAT day! We enjoyed a couple of hours at the pool and then grilled out back at the house. Once again the girls had a blast and Tyler was quite the entertainment for us all! Our camera battery died...so you'll have to stay tuned for more pictures when Blythe sends them my way - or you can check out the Daniels' Blog!
Like I mentioned before, we're sad that we don't have pictures from ALL our wonderful visitors...you have not been forgotten. Here goes a recap of those not pictured:**Winner of the "Furthest Traveled" title - Shaunna Anderson Hilton (Phoenix, AZ) - Mom's friend from college!
**Winner of "I knew you when" title - Melissa Gray. Her mom baby-sat Allyson and Stephanie when we were little. Ally and Steph baby-sat Melssa and her sister Tara as kids. AND NOW, we're looking forward to having Melissa help us out with our kiddos when Allyson returns to work!
**Princess Party of the Year - Ansley Burkhalter including apperances from the King and Queen (Brian and Lauryn) and Prince Braden (the Burkhalters' newest addition that was born the same day as our little man, Preston)
**Then there's Kimbo Morris - who is currently carving her way to success with accomplishment after accomplishment! Kimbo, we hope your drive and determination rubs off on our kiddos!
We have been blessed to have our family visiting at every opportunity that fits in each of their busy schedules. We'd include more here about the fam...but this particular blog was dedicated to our FRIENDS.
We LOVE YOU ALL and thank God for the blessings you ALL are in our lives.

Mike built Madelyn a water hole in the sand - she LOVED it!! She ran back and forth from the ocean to her hole all afternoon! Gramps and Nana bought her some sand toys - they were a total hit!
This sweet sun hat was a gift from some of Allyson's co-workers. It was too big last year - it's just perfect now! We were all impressed that Madelyn kept it on!
Seriously - could this little baby bootie be any cuter?
One seriously pooped little girl after running around all afternoon!
Madelyn is into moving things around - sometimes picking them up and sometimes just pushing/sliding them. This table was moved ALL OVER the house!
If the beach wasn't enough - the little girl (and her daddy) just had to get in the pool too! Oh, and we can't forget to mention that Mally took her first swim in a pool this trip! The night we arrived Mally was overly excited about exploring the house and the back yard. The light was burned out by the pool, so when we walked out back door, Mally trotted on out to explore...and she promptly fell right into the pool! Here are a few pics of Mike and Madelyn playing in the pool.
